I bought this for my 2005 F150 4×4 XLT short-bed Supercab with a standard profile Lifetime aluminum camper top and it fits perfectly. It was just what I have been looking for, as I have a modified futon frame that I put in the back and needed the tailgate down to accommodate the 6′ full-size mattress pad. It’s well made and has features that show it was designed by someone who actually truck camps. It takes 2-minutes to set up, or break down if you are taking your time. With the lower bungee cord set below the tailgate to pull the sides tight, it keeps all of the mosquitoes out too. We had one night of rain in the Eastern Sierras and the rainfly kept us perfectly dry. My wife and I could not be happier with this truck tent.

Works perfectly. Very easy to set up. I put a tarp over the rest of my shell for privacy. Had it in a rain storm. No leaks. I laid another tarp down in the bed of my truck to put my air mattress on. The tarp lays over the tailgate and covers up the holes in the coners of the tailgate that is mentioned in another review. Basically keeps it sealed off. 100% happy with this product.

This tent is great! It took me less than 5 minutes to set up right out of the box. I then worked with the fit for about half an hour to really get it fitting well. I have a 2017 Ford F150 with a Leer 180 raised camper shell. The glass door doesn’t rise as high as I would like, but you have to make a few compromises with any multi-use product not designed specifically for your vehicle. One criticism of others issue is that the tent doesn’t seal around the end of the truck allowing bugs to get in. Certainly, this is going to be the case. However, if you spend a few minutes adjusting the straps, especially the strap that goes under the tailgate you can get a reasonable bug-free deal. I have tailgate seals in place that seal the tailgate gaps, so all I needed to do is drop the tent stuff sack in one corner between the tailgate and the tent on the inside, and a small towel on the other side, and I was as bug-free as you can get. I was a little concerned about getting in and out because of the lip on the back. But, as soon as you unzip the flap the lip lays flat.
